Preferences -> Cameras -> Setup.
Open System Preferences and select the SecuritySpy & Privacy item. If the firewall feature is turned off, you don’t need to do anything here. If the firewall is on, you need to either turn it off, or configure it to allow incoming connections to SecuritySpy. Click the Firewall Options button and drag the SecuritySpy application into the list:
SecuritySpy supports most video and audio codecs (JPEG, MPEG-4, H.264, AAC, etc.), for efficient storage of captured footage. SecuritySpy can either perform the compression itself, or save the compressed data directly to disk so that the camera, not the computer, is doing all the work, resulting in the best performance and quality.
